Inspired by the true stories of my mother.
Synopsis
It’s 1993 and Sita has recently immigrated to California. She needs to make a sale at her job in order to earn a commission and look after her family. Why Donate?
We are creating imagery that does not currently exist - a South Asian encyclopedia saleswoman in the 90s. I know first hand because this particular South Asian story is based on my mother. Our story has been generously supported by Netflix and Tasveer and we are looking for additional funds to make the Sale to it’s highest artistic potential and tell this story in authentic locations, props and wardrobe. We have an extremely passionate team and a guaranteed premiere date. Come walk the red carpet with us!
Be part of something special and unique. Support arts in the Bay Area. Support stories that inspire our best.
